How Manhunt works

The runner tries to complete a Minecraft survival run while the hunters try to stop them. Tracking compasses keep the chase moving, so hiding is only part of the challenge: gathering resources, escaping fights and deciding when to enter the Nether all matter. Agree on the runner and hunter teams before beginning your game.

Getting your group into the game

  1. Join the waitlist for news about beta access. Once you have access, sign in to Worlder and choose Manhunt from the Minecraft catalog.
  2. Create the world and wait for it to become active. Startup time varies by mode.
  3. Open Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11, select Multiplayer, then Add Server. Enter the server address shown by Worlder and share it with your friends.

Setup and first steps

The server includes the Manhunt plugin. Use /manhunt in-game to access its setup, assign roles and start your round. Review the plugin's available options before deciding your group's rules.

Before your Minecraft night

Everyone should use the Java version listed above. Bedrock and console crossplay are not currently advertised as supported. World uploads and automatic backup restoration are planned features; do not rely on them during beta. Check beta access and plan details before arranging a session.
